In the wake of severe thunderstorms that brought hail up to baseball size and at least three tornadoes to the Sooner State on Monday, an unseasonably cold air mass is moving in. Strong north winds will continue to pump colder air into the southern Plains today, which along with cloud cover will hold temperatures at unseasonably low levels all day. Highs will only reach the 50s in many areas of central and northern Oklahoma. Winds will diminish tonight, which will result in almost winter-like temperatures in the 30s and 40s overnight. Frost will be possible over western OKlahoma Wednesday morning.
